Licensed Medical Professional Wanted — CBD Content Expert for a Leading Wellness Brand
Only freelancers located in the U.S. may apply.U.S. located freelancers only
We're a top-tier CBD wellness brand (name shared at interview) looking for licensed medical professionals who can speak credibly and comfortably about CBD, the endocannabinoid system, and cannabinoid wellness. This is ongoing, paid content work — not a one-off gig. Who we're looking for: MD or DO (any specialty; integrative, functional, family, sports, or pain medicine a plus) Physician Assistant (PA-C) Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN/BSN) Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) Pharmacist (PharmD) or Chiropractor (DC) also considered You must hold an active, verifiable license in good standing. We will verify credentials before any work begins. What you'll actually be doing: Appearing in short-form video content (Q&A style, educational explainers, product education) — filmed remotely on your own setup or with our production support Writing or co-writing blog articles, FAQs, and educational guides on CBD topics Reviewing brand content for medical accuracy and lending your name/credentials as the reviewing expert ("Medically reviewed by...") Providing expert quotes for PR, articles, and social content Occasional live or recorded webinars and podcast appearances (optional, paid separately) What you need to know about CBD: Working knowledge of the endocannabinoid system, CBD vs. THC, full-spectrum vs. broad-spectrum vs. isolate, and common delivery formats Familiarity with the current research landscape — what the evidence supports, what it doesn't, and how to talk about the gap honestly Understanding of FDA/FTC rules for supplement marketing. You cannot make disease claims about CBD, and you need to know why. If you've done medical review or content work for supplement or wellness brands before, tell us. Requirements: Active US license (we'll verify) Comfortable on camera OR strong health writing samples (ideally both) Able to explain medical concepts to a general audience without jargon Responsive and reliable — we work on content calendars with real deadlines No current disciplinary actions or board sanctions Compensation: Paid per deliverable or hourly, based on credentials and scope. Tell us your rate for (a) a 60-second on-camera video, (b) a medically reviewed 1,000-word article, and (c) an hourly rate for consultation/review work. Ongoing monthly retainer available for the right fit. How to apply — answer these in your proposal (applications that skip these will not be considered): What is your credential and license state? (We verify before hiring.) Link to any on-camera content, published writing, or medical review credits. Your rates for the three deliverables above. We're hiring more than one expert. If you're a credentialed professional who believes in educating consumers honestly about cannabinoids, we'd like to hear from you.
