Lighting Take-Offs & Fixture Counting Specialist Needed - No Agencies

We’re a dynamic lighting company seeking a detail-oriented, experienced professional to assist with take-offs and fixture counting for both residential and commercial projects. Projects vary in size — from small residential units to large-scale mixed-use buildings. This is an ongoing role with a consistent workload of approximately 1–2 take-offs per week. ✅ Read electrical + ID drawings, match fixture types across plans ✅ Extract the luminaire schedule into Excel ✅ Count each fixture type by level – for both common areas and unit types ✅ Multiply fixture counts by unit quantities based on the building plan ✅ Fill out all fixture data in a provided Excel template ✅ Create a Bill of Materials for the project ✅ Search, Find, Download, Read Lighting Specification. 🔹 Strong experience with BlueBeam, PlanSwift, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel 🔹 Comfortable using ChatGPT or other AI tools for support 🔹 Great attention to detail – 100% accuracy matters in this role 🔹 Able to interpret and compare architectural & ID plans 🔹 Strong communicator — we like people who can ask smart questions To Apply: Please include: A short note on your experience with lighting take-offs or fixture counting Any tools you're familiar with (Excel, BlueBeam, etc.) An example of past work (if available) We’ll start with a small trial project to get a feel for working together (paid).
