Link Building & Outreach Specialist (B2B SaaS / Developer Tools)

We're a bootstrapped SaaS company building developer tools — starting with an AI SaaS product, with more products to follow. We're looking for a hands-on outreach and link-building specialist to grow our visibility and build relationships across the web. This is execution work, not strategy-deck work. You'll be researching, reaching out, posting, and building links every single day. You won't fly blind — you'll have access to our internal AI tools for research and drafting, so you can move fast and stay accurate. What you'll do - Research and build targeted lists of blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and potential integration partners in the SaaS / developer-tools space - Find and qualify guest-post, resource-page, and backlink opportunities — legitimate, white-hat only - Draft personalized outreach for our founder to send (the founder closes; you build the pipeline) - Participate genuinely in relevant communities (Reddit, dev forums, Facebook groups, Slack/Discord) — adding real value and building reputation over time, never dropping spam links - Track every contact, link, and conversation in a shared sheet/CRM - Submit a short summary of your work at the end of each day What we're looking for - Proven link-building / outreach experience in B2B SaaS or developer tools — please share real examples of links you've placed - Excellent written English — you'll represent our brand in public and in inboxes - Comfortable with technical vocabulary (API, SDK, CLI, MCP) — you don't need to code, but you can't sound lost talking to developers - Skilled with AI tools for research and drafting, with the judgment to reject generic AI output (bloggers and devs spot it instantly) - Self-directed, organized, and reliable — you'll set your own hours but deliver consistent daily output The arrangement ~4–5 hours/day, paid hourly - Work whenever suits you, as long as the work gets done - 1–2 quick check-ins per day with the founder - Daily work submission - Ongoing / long-term for the right person What this is NOT - Not a "guaranteed 100 backlinks" gig — no PBNs, no spam, nothing that risks our domain - Not a set-and-forget strategy role — this is daily hands-on execution To apply - Share 2–3 examples of backlinks or outreach wins you've delivered for SaaS/tech clients. - Answer this in your proposal: name one developer community OR newsletter where you'd build visibility for an email-infrastructure API, and one sentence on why.
