Litigation Paralegal

Seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for a pending federal consumer protection case in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Scope of work: - Federal court e-filing via CM/ECF - Docket management and deadline calendaring - Formatting and filing motions, notices, and discovery documents per E.D. Louisiana local rules - Preparing deposition notices and subpoenas - Organizing and managing case file materials - Coordinating service on opposing counsel - General litigation support as needed Requirements: - Demonstrated experience with federal court filings (CM/ECF experience required) - Familiarity with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and local court rules - Experience supporting consumer protection, commercial, or tort litigation - Strong document management and organizational skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Responsive communication and reliable deadline management Preferred: - Prior experience with E.D. Louisiana or Fifth Circuit practice - Experience supporting pro se or solo practitioner litigants - Familiarity with discovery procedures including deposition scheduling and document production This is an active case with near-term filing needs.
