Livestream Sales Host (Whatnot)

About the Role We are looking for a confident and engaging Livestream Sales Host to lead live shopping and auction sessions on Whatnot. The host will present a variety of consumer products, interact with viewers in real time, explain product features, and help drive sales. Previous livestream experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in sales, retail, hosting, acting, content creation, or customer service are welcome to apply. Responsibilities - Host live shopping and auction sessions on Whatnot - Present products clearly and confidently on camera - Explain product features, condition, pricing, and key selling points - Engage with viewers and respond to questions in real time - Encourage bidding and purchases while maintaining a natural and positive energy - Follow the planned product lineup, pricing strategy, and show format - Work closely with the livestream operator and production team - Learn basic product information before each livestream Qualifications - Comfortable speaking and presenting on camera - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Able to think quickly and respond naturally during a live broadcast - Energetic, reliable, and comfortable in a sales-focused environment - Fluent in conversational English - Able to work on-site in Downtown Los Angeles - Available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends - Previous livestreaming, sales, retail, hosting, acting, content creation, or customer service experience is preferred - Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Shop, Instagram Live, or similar platforms is a plus - Mandarin Chinese is a plus but not required Hiring Process - Initial phone or video interview - Candidates who pass the initial online interview will be required to attend an in-person mock livestream audition at our Downtown Los Angeles location - Selected candidates will be invited to complete paid test shows - Ongoing schedules will be determined based on performance, availability, and livestream needs How to Apply - Please submit your resume and, if available, any of the following: - A short introduction video - Previous livestream recordings - Social media or content portfolio - Examples of hosting, sales, acting, or other on-camera work - Please also include your availability and any relevant livestream or sales experience.
