Local Marketing Expert to Fill Live Educational Seminars (Toronto)

We're looking for an experienced marketer to help fill seats at live educational seminars in the Greater Toronto Area. This is not an event planning role. We already have the venue, presentation, and sales process. Your job is simple: Get qualified people to attend. About us We're an established personal training and wellness company specializing in evidence-based fitness for adults over 50. Our seminars cover topics such as: - Osteoporosis - Osteoarthritis - Menopause - Weight loss after 50 - Type 2 diabetes - Healthy aging Historically, our live seminars have been one of our most successful client acquisition channels. We're looking for someone who can consistently put the right people in the room. Your responsibilities: - Develop a strategy to maximize seminar attendance - Identify the best local marketing channels - Build relationships with organizations that can help promote our seminars - Coordinate promotional activities - Test different approaches and continually improve attendance - Track registrations and show-up rates - Recommend new ideas to increase attendance while keeping acquisition costs reasonable We're NOT looking for someone who only runs Facebook or Google Ads. We're looking for someone who thinks creatively and is willing to use whatever works, including: - Community partnerships - Local organizations - Email marketing - Healthcare relationships - Community newsletters - Local media - Senior organizations - Social media - Paid advertising - Or anything else you believe will generate qualified attendees. - Ideal experience Experience promoting any of the following is a major plus: - Educational seminars - Financial seminars - Healthcare seminars - Retirement planning events - Medical practices - Wellness businesses - Community events - Local event marketing To apply, please answer the following questions: 1.
