Local Sponsorship Sales Representative – Bozeman Concert

MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN MONTANA TO BE CONSIDERED. Summit Sound Productions is looking for a motivated, outgoing salesperson to immediately help secure local sponsorships for an upcoming Theory of a Deadman + Sevendust concert in Bozeman, Montana on September 29. This is a short-term, fast-moving sales opportunity with the potential for additional work on future concerts and events if it's a good fit. We are approximately 30 days from the show, so we need someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running. We already have professional sponsorship packages created, pricing established, and an initial lead list of Montana businesses to target. You will not be starting from scratch. Your primary responsibility will be reaching out to businesses throughout Bozeman, Belgrade, Gallatin Valley, and Montana to secure event sponsorships. This will require proactive phone calls, personalized emails, follow-ups, relationship building, presenting sponsorship opportunities, and ultimately closing deals. This is a sales/business development position, not a digital marketing position. You must be comfortable picking up the phone and directly contacting business owners, general managers, marketing directors, and other decision-makers. Our immediate sponsorship goal is approximately $15,000–$20,000+ before the event. Sponsorship opportunities range from approximately $750 to $10,000+, and we have flexibility to negotiate and create custom packages when appropriate. Compensation will include an hourly/base arrangement through Upwork plus 15% commission on sponsorship revenue you personally close, creating meaningful upside for someone who can sell. Local knowledge and relationships are extremely valuable for this position. Experience in advertising sales, radio sales, sponsorship sales, business development, outside sales, events, hospitality, media, or local B2B sales would be particularly relevant. Again, you must currently live in Montana to be considered. Preference will be given to candidates located in Bozeman, Belgrade, Gallatin Valley, Helena, Butte, or surrounding areas who understand the local business community. We are moving quickly. We would like to interview qualified candidates over the weekend or Monday morning and have the selected person start Monday.
