Local Videographer & Audio Tech for VIP Interviews (3 Days / No Editing)

We are a New York-based PR agency executing high-profile, on-camera media interviews with VIP medical professionals at an upcoming convention in Chicago. We are setting up a dedicated, stationary interview space (branded backdrop, high-top table, and stools) in a quiet corridor at the venue. We need a reliable local professional to handle the complete camera and audio execution so our media team can focus entirely on hosting. No post-production editing is required. You will simply hand off the raw media files at the end of each day. The Schedule (Standardized 8-Hour Blocks) Sunday, July 26: Approx. 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Includes setup/wrap) Monday, July 27: 8:30 AM Call (Setup) | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Interviews) | 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Wrap/File Transfer) Tuesday, July 28: 8:30 AM Call (Setup) | 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Interviews) | 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Wrap/File Transfer) Key Responsibilities Setup & Framing: Frame a clean, well-lit, waist-up Medium Shot of our host and one guest. Live Audio Monitoring (Crucial): You must provide two high-quality wireless lavalier mics, sync them directly to your camera, and actively monitor levels with headphones to ensure zero echo or clipping in a conference environment. File Handoff: At the wrap of each day, dump all raw, unedited 4K video and audio files onto our hard drive. Required Gear 1) Professional 4K camera and stable tripod. 2 )Two high-quality wireless lavalier microphones. 3) Dual Monitoring Audio Setup: A portable audio interface/mixer or headphone splitter, plus two sets of professional headphones (one for the videographer, one for the host) so both parties can monitor the live audio feed during the interviews. 4) Basic portable continuous lighting (to balance standard venue overhead light).
