Localization Project Manager with experience in Translation tools. Night shift

Day Translations is hiring a Localization Project Manager (Full-Time, Remote) working the night shift. We need someone to work the night shift, this means ideally we need someone living in the eastern hemisphere. We are seeking an experienced, tech-savvy Localization Project Manager to join our growing global team. This is a long-term, full-time role (8 hours/day, 5 days/week). We prefer if you also have weekend availability. You must have deep expertise in localization, industry-standard tools, and AI-driven workflows. We need a high-performing professional who thrives on precision, ownership, and results. This is not an entry-level role. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end localization projects: website, software, multimedia, documentation, and more. Client-facing: Manage expectations, provide guidance, and ensure satisfaction at every stage. Heavy tool usage: Manage workflows using Plunet, Phrase (PhraseApp), Smartcat, memoQ, Trados, and similar platforms. Mastery of TMS, CAT tools, and MT engines (machine translation) is expected. AI & automation: Integrate AI-driven translation solutions to enhance scalability and quality. Quality control: Create and enforce style guides, glossaries, and translation memories. Vendor & team coordination: Select, onboard, and manage linguists and specialists globally. Budgeting & delivery: Maintain budgets, timelines, and performance metrics. Process optimization: Continuously improve workflows, tools, and delivery methods. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 3+ years as a Localization PM in a language services company. Proven expertise with tools like Plunet, Phrase, Smartcat, memoQ, Trados, etc. Strong understanding of AI translation, MT post-editing, and TMS systems. Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong client communication and stakeholder management abilities. Fluent English required; Chinese or other language proficiency is a plus. Bachelor's or Master’s in Localization, Translation, or related fields.
