Localization testing in Cebuano Language

This opportunity is part of a trusted partnership between Testlio, a global testing and user research company, and our client, a globally known Bible app company. Testlio specializes in helping leading brands understand how people use their products through feedback from real users. Why You Are Here You’ve been invited to participate in testing for a Bible app for its Audio, Bible Content, and Download content on an iPhone / Android device in the Cebuano Language. Requirements: Location: Global Age: You must be 18 years or older to participate Device Requirements: iPhone or Android Mobile What to Expect You'll be asked to verify that a Bible app is correctly translated in Cebuano. In order to access the app, you will first be asked to create an account on our website, Testlio. On our website, is where we'll be able to assign you your tasks, track your progress, and give you access to all of the documentation pertaining to this project. Furthermore, you will be put in contact with the Testing Managers of this project in order to stay in touch. Testing Task Description You will be asked to download a Bible App on your phone. We will provide a list of instructions and test cases that you will be asked to follow to let us know if the Bible App has been translated into your language. You do not need any prior experience with religious Studies or Bible apps in order to participate, but you do need to be a native Cebuano speaker in order to verify the language. - Test type: Localization testing - Duration: Up to 1-2h total work. - Compensation: Participants will receive $10-$18 h/r What Happens Next - You'll need to answer a few initial questions as part of your Upwork proposal bid - To further ensure that you're a good fit for this study, we'll expand the questions via messages. - If selected, you’ll be asked to first create an account on our Platform, Testlio. This is where the task will be assigned to you. Account creation will last approximately 30 minutes. Your information will be used only for research purposes and handled according to GDPR standards. All responses are stored securely and shared only with Testlio and our client.
