Logo Design with Existing Brand Elements

We're Team Tappa, a "Booked-Appointment-as-a-Service" company for skilled tradespeople. We deliver one thing: qualified, booked appointments straight into a tradesperson's calendar — not leads, not campaigns. We position ourselves as a service company, not a marketing agency. The brand is built around a cycling stage-race metaphor. The Italian word tappa means "stage." The tradesperson is the team leader (the "kopman"); we're the squad that rides the whole route for them — from first click to appointment at the table. The feeling is momentum, forward motion, and results — warm and human, but bold. Never stiff-corporate. We already have a complete brand book (colors, typography, graphic language) and a first rough logo draft. We're keeping the brand — but we want to start fresh on the logo. Our current draft uses a double-chevron mark, and we are not looking to refine it. We want a genuinely new, unique mark that still feels at home in this identity. Color palette: Asphalt #16191F — dark base, "the road" Stage Orange #FA4A23 — primary accent, momentum, the leader's jersey Lime #C9ED8A — success / "booked" / "achieved" Chalk #F8F4ED — warm cream base White #FFFFFF + supporting greys Typography: Clash Display (display), Inter (body), Saira Semi Condensed (mono/labels). Brand feel: stage-race momentum, speed, forward motion, rounded and approachable shapes — never angular-corporate. What we need A new logo for Team Tappa. Note the wordmark hierarchy: "Tappa" leads; "Team" sits small and quiet above or beside it (the squad serves the leader, so the service name carries). Deliverables: Primary logo (wordmark + mark/icon) A standalone mark/icon that works as an app icon, avatar, and favicon Versions for light (chalk/white) and dark (asphalt) backgrounds, plus a single-color version Clear-space and minimum-size guidance Final files: vector (AI + SVG + EPS) and PNG exports Direction / what we're after A mark that conveys momentum, forward motion, or "the next stage" — without copying our current chevron draft Feel free to explore route/elevation lines, stage markers, motion, or an abstract take on the letterforms — we're open to your ideas Fresh, distinctive and ownable — it should not read like a generic SaaS logo or a clichéd sports badge Must scale down cleanly to a small app icon and stay legible in one color Skills Logo design, brand identity, vector work, typography. A plus if you've designed within an existing brand system before.
