We are looking for a highly skilled long-form video editor for a new emotionally driven YouTube/podcast series focused on women navigating reinvention, grief, healing, growth, identity shifts, and new chapters in life. This is not a loud, hyperactive, dopamine-style YouTube show. This is intimate storytelling. The tone is warm, cinematic, grounded, elegant, emotionally intelligent, and human. Think: * documentary sensibility, * tasteful pacing, * emotional restraint, * authenticity, * premium but approachable. We are building a show that feels like sitting with a close friend late at night having an honest conversation about life. We need an editor who understands emotional rhythm — not just technical editing. We need someone who can: * shape emotional conversations into compelling narratives, * identify powerful emotional beats, * preserve authenticity while tightening pacing, * create cinematic but natural flow, * avoid over-editing, * make viewers feel emotionally connected. The ideal editor understands that: sometimes the most powerful moment is the pause before someone speaks. Editing responsibilities may include: * multicam podcast editing, * syncing audio/video, * pacing and story shaping, * removing filler/repetition while preserving emotional authenticity, * subtle zooms/reframes, * tasteful transitions, * light color correction, * audio balancing/cleanup, * incorporating intro/outro/music, * preparing exports for YouTube.
