Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Digital PR & Outreach Specialist to elevate our external brand authority and market presence. This role bridges the gap between SEO, PR, and content distribution. Working alongside our internal marketing and content teams, you will turn high-level strategies into real-world visibility through media placements, relationship-building, quality backlinks, and strategic partnerships. Role Nature: This is a strictly execution-focused role. You won’t be drafting the high-level strategy; instead, you will be the driving force activating it through direct outreach, relationship management, and securing media coverage. Logistics & Availability Term: Full-time, 6-month contract with the potential to transition into a long-term role based on performance. Time Zone: Heavily preferred candidates who work within or closely overlap with Pacific Time (PT), requiring a minimum of 3 hours of daily overlap with the core team. Geographic Focus: Prioritizing applicants based in North America, Central America, South America, or The Philippines. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will champion our external outreach efforts for the U.S. market. Your day-to-day will involve: Relationship Management: Building and maintaining genuine connections with journalists, editors, creators, podcasters, and industry influencers. Campaign Execution: Managing the entire outreach pipeline, from initial prospecting and list building to tailored pitching and persistent follow-ups. Content Amplification: Collaborating with SEO and content teams to pitch and promote our data stories, proprietary insights, and thought-leadership assets. Securing Key Metrics: Focusing on earning high-quality backlinks, editorial brand mentions, and authoritative media coverage rather than low-tier shortcuts. Process Optimization: Iteratively improving outreach scripts, tracking methods, and relationship strategies for maximum conversion. Qualifications & Requirements To thrive in this role, you should possess: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital PR, media relations, or authority-focused link building tailored to the U.S. market. Strategic Understanding: A deep knowledge of how PR, SEO, and content marketing work together to build search equity and brand trust. Quality Focus: A proven track record of securing meaningful, editorially earned media placements (not transactional, spam-heavy backlinks). Communication Skills: Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to write compelling, customized pitches for diverse audiences. Independent Execution: The organizational skills to manage your own pipeline, troubleshoot outreach blockers, and work autonomously. Remote Fluency: Experience working within distributed teams and collaborating effectively via asynchronous communication tools.
