Long Term Podcast Producer Needed for Editing, Publishing & Episode Management

About the Project I'm launching a new weekly interview podcast and am looking for a long term podcast producer who can handle everything after I finish recording. I already have two professional microphones and will be recording from my apartment in New York. This is a fully remote position. I am not looking for someone to record with me in person. Instead, I need someone who can guide me through my initial setup over Zoom or Google Meet, make sure my equipment and software are configured correctly, and explain the workflow for uploading recordings after each episode. Once everything is set up, my goal is simple: record each episode, upload the files, and have you take care of the rest. The podcast will release one new episode every week (approximately four episodes per month), and I'm looking for someone who wants to build a long term working relationship. My budget is $100 per episode. Since there will be one episode every week, this is an ongoing opportunity for the right producer. Responsibilities Help me remotely set up my podcast recording equipment. Recommend the best recording software and settings. Walk me through the recording workflow. Explain where and how to upload recordings. Edit each episode for clarity, pacing, and professional sound quality. Remove mistakes, filler words, long pauses, and background noise when appropriate. Balance audio levels between speakers. Add intro, outro, music, and any provided advertisements. Create episode titles, descriptions, and basic show notes. Export episodes in the appropriate formats. Upload and publish episodes to my podcast hosting platform. Ensure episodes are published correctly across major podcast platforms. Be available for occasional communication if I have questions about the recording process. Requirements Experience producing and editing podcasts from start to finish. Strong audio editing skills using Adobe Audition, Descript, Pro Tools, Reaper, or similar software. Experience publishing podcasts to major podcast hosting platforms. Excellent English communication skills. Reliable turnaround times and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
