Long-Term Podcast Video Editor for Fugitive Chefs Hi! I’m Furqan, a chef, researcher and host of Fugitive Chefs, a podcast exploring how chefs build meaningful careers beyond traditional restaurant kitchens. Our guests include chefs working in food innovation, R&D, sustainability, entrepreneurship, education and food technology. The goal isn’t just to publish interviews, but to tell engaging stories that inspire the next generation of culinary professionals. I’m looking for a long-term freelance editor who can grow with the project. What you’ll work on Each episode is: * 40-50 minutes long * Recorded in Riverside with two camera angles * Delivered with separate video and audio tracks For every episode, you’ll deliver: * A polished long-form edit * Audio cleanup * Smooth camera switching * Removal of mistakes, repetitions and unnecessary pauses * A short cold open (I’ll provide guidance initially) * Intro and outro * Basic colour correction if needed * One YouTube thumbnail * Three engaging vertical reels with captions and hook text I’ll take care of titles, descriptions, uploading and publishing. What I’m looking for I’m not looking for someone who simply cuts videos together. I’m looking for someone who understands: * storytelling * pacing * viewer retention * what makes someone stop scrolling Someone who is happy to give creative input and improve over time.
