Summary

About us We're a small product studio building and launching AI-powered web apps. We currently have five products live, each with its own content channel: Perfect day — daily habit and routine building FitCoach AI — AI fitness coaching Read Tonight AI — book and novel recommendations Watch Tonight — movie and series recommendations Ad Doctor — diagnosing and fixing underperforming ad campaigns We're scaling our content output across all five and we're building a small in-house creative bench to do it. We're hiring 2–3 editors for long-term, ongoing weekly work — not a one-off project. What we need Weekly output (per editor, split across our products): 3 short-form videos per week — vertical 9:16, 30–60 seconds, faceless 1 long-form video per week — 5–10 minutes, faceless Work rotates across our five products, so you'll get variety rather than the same channel every week. Two style tracks — tell us which you're stronger at: Track 1 — Faceless montage / cinematic editing Stock footage and clip-based storytelling. Beat-synced cuts, strong pacing, clean animated captions, color grading, sound design. Used for our book, movie, and marketing content. Track 2 — Stick-figure animation Simple, clean 2D stick-figure animation. Motivational scenarios and exercise demonstrations with muscle-group highlights. Deliberately minimal and readable on a phone screen. Used for our habit and fitness content. Ideal candidates are strong in one track and competent in the other. If you're excellent at just one, still apply — we're hiring more than one person and will build the team around complementary strengths. Every video must convert This is the most important part of the job, so please read it carefully. Every single video we produce ends with a call to action driving viewers to the product website. These aren't vanity content pieces — each one is a soft ad for the app it represents. That means we need editors who understand retention and conversion, not just aesthetics: First 2 seconds must hook. If retention dies at 3 seconds, the CTA never gets seen. The CTA has to be built into the edit — an on-screen end card, a URL animation, a product mockup reveal. Not a rushed afterthought pasted on the last frame. Pattern interrupts throughout — zooms, cuts, motion — to hold attention to the end. The product should appear naturally inside the video, not only at the end. If you've edited content that was designed to drive clicks or signups rather than just get views, say so in your proposal and show us that work. It's the single biggest thing we're screening for. What we provide Full scripts for every video Brand kit per product — logo, colors, fonts Reference videos so you can match the target style Product screenshots and mockups for the CTA sections Approved music library A clear weekly content calendar so you always know what's coming ElevenLabs account access — we cover the subscription, you generate the voiceovers What you handle Voiceover generation. We provide the ElevenLabs login, so there's no subscription cost on your side. You generate the audio from our scripts and sync it. We'll assign an approved voice per product — please stick to it so our channels stay consistent. Footage and B-roll sourcing (copyright-safe) Editing, animation, captions, sound mixing, export On the scripts — improve them. We write the scripts, but you're welcome to rewrite the hook. If you think the first line won't hold attention, change it. You watch retention graphs for a living and you know what stops a scroll better than a script written at a desk. Same for pacing — cut a line, reorder a beat, tighten the middle. Keep the core message and the CTA intact, and the rest is yours to improve. Editors who bring ideas rather than just executing instructions are exactly who we want to keep long-term, and we pay attention to who does it. You focus on execution and craft. We handle strategy, direction, and the content calendar. What we're looking for in a person Reliability above all. Consistent weekly delivery matters more to us than being the most talented editor on the platform. We're building a routine. Comfortable working from a written brief without heavy back-and-forth Sources copyright-safe footage and music, and understands YouTube Content ID basics Delivers organized files with clear naming Basic conversational English Wants a stable long-term client rather than one-off gigs How this works Paid trial: 2 short videos. Paid regardless of whether we continue. Trial passes → we move to a weekly ongoing contract. First month: we settle into a rhythm — templates, feedback loops, turnaround times. After that: rates increase as volume grows. We're launching more products this year and content needs will scale with them. We'd genuinely rather find 2–3 people and keep them for years than re-hire every month. If you deliver consistently, this becomes stable recurring income with predictable weekly work. To apply, please send: Portfolio links — specifically faceless short-form and/or stick-figure animation work. Please point us to the pieces most relevant to us rather than a general reel. Which track you're stronger at — faceless montage, stick-figure animation, or both Have you edited content designed to drive clicks or signups? Show us an example if yes. Have you worked with AI voiceover before? (ElevenLabs or similar — we provide the account, we just want to know you're comfortable with it) Your rate — per short, per long-form video, and your weekly rate for 3 shorts + 1 long Your realistic weekly capacity and your timezone What software you work in Please start your proposal with the word "STUDIO" so we know you read the full post. Proposals without it won't be reviewed. Budget Fixed-price weekly contract. Our starting range is $10–40 per week per editor for 4 shorts + 1 long-form video, with increases as we scale and once you're familiar with our templates and workflow. We know that's an entry-level rate. We're offering it in exchange for something real: guaranteed weekly volume, a long-term relationship, scripts and assets fully prepared for you, and a rate that grows with us. If you're an established editor with premium rates, we're probably not the right fit right now — and we'd rather be upfront about that than waste your time. Skills to tag: Video Editing, Video Post-Editing, Social Media Video, 2D Animation, Motion Graphics, After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Subtitles, Content Creation, Explainer Video
