Summary

If you're an editor who genuinely enjoys making complex ideas easy to understand, this might be a great fit for you. We run a science-based YouTube channel in the men's hair loss space (122,304 subscribers). Our content is education-focused and evidence-driven. Here's our channel: (link removed) The goal is to explain complex biology clearly, challenge misconceptions, and help men understand what's actually causing their hair loss and what to do about it. You'll handle the full edit from raw footage to final delivery, creating clean, well-paced long-form edits from talking head footage. We'll give you the raw footage, a brief, and clear direction. What we care about most: - Storytelling judgment: understanding the structure and purpose of a video, not just following the script literally - Basic motion graphics: ability to build basic animated assets that support the science being explained on screen - B-roll and visual choices: reinforcing the message rather than filling space - Colour grading and audio: solid, consistent work across both - Attention to detail: ability to convey nuanced ideas, error free on-screen text, and professional delivery every time Requirements - Portfolio of long-form edits (10+ minutes preferred) - Experience with education, science, or information-driven content is a bonus - Turnaround within 3–5 days for a first draft of an edit - Responsive, clear communicator How this works Shortlisted applicants will receive a brief and two short clips to edit as a first test. This lets us see how you handle pacing and hooks, and whether you can follow creative direction on science-based content. The strongest candidates from that stage will be invited to complete a paid full edit from our pipeline. We are looking for someone to grow with long-term. To apply, please include: - Links to long-form videos you've edited - Your typical turnaround time for a 10–15 minute video - A short note on how you approach editing education or science content
