You'll handle the full edit from raw footage to final delivery, creating clean, well-paced long-form edits from talking head footage. We'll give you the raw footage, a brief, and clear direction. What we care about most: - Storytelling judgment: understanding the structure and purpose of a video, not just following the script literally - Basic motion graphics: ability to build basic animated assets that support the science being explained on screen - B-roll and visual choices: reinforcing the message rather than filling space - Colour grading and audio: solid, consistent work across both - Attention to detail: ability to convey nuanced ideas, error free on-screen text, and professional delivery every time Requirements - Portfolio of long-form edits (10+ minutes preferred) - Experience with education, science, or information-driven content is a bonus - Turnaround within 3–5 days for a first draft of an edit - Responsive, clear communicator How this works Shortlisted applicants will receive a brief and two short clips to edit as a first test. This lets us see how you handle pacing and hooks, and whether you can follow creative direction on science-based content.
