We have several more villas in the pipeline. Who we are Mimpi Madeira develops residences in Madeira, Portugal, for international buyers. Our reference points sit between Scandinavian restraint, Swiss&German precision and Mediterranean warmth. The job We have a villa under construction. The architectural project, structural drawings, electrical schemas, HVAC drawings, 3D renders for interior + exterior, a written design brief and a Pinterest reference set already exist. Your job: review what is there, then draw up our vision in the missing pieces — in DWG + PDF, at the level our experienced builder can execute from. You can choose the software and use AI. The volume of net new design is limited to drawing up our vision and inspo. Most of the work is drawing decisions we have already made into clean, consistent drawings the builder can build from. What you are NOT doing You are not designing the HVAC, plumbing, electrical or structural systems. The respective engineers handle(d) those; their drawings are inputs to you. You are not doing landscaping. You are not producing renders — they exist. You are not authoring material specs from scratch — we have them. We need your verification + practical recommendations where you see a better choice. We do not need exact models or manufacturer names. You are not producing exhaustive 1:5 details for every joint. Deliver only the drawing set the builder needs to execute — no more, no less. You are not sourcing manufacturers (sidebar list welcome if you have EU suppliers you trust). What you are doing Interior Ceramic tile layout drawings for every wet area (bathrooms, outdoor wet zones). Exact-measurement drawings: walk-in closet, each bathroom, shower niches, vanity layouts. Ceiling-cornice & false ceiling details where AC supply, LED strip, blind/curtain motor and pelmet coexist — section + plan with each element's coordinates. Cabinetry layouts (kitchen island, bathroom vanities, wardrobes) — elevations + sections sufficient for a joinery quote. Spec verification: read existing material specs, mark anything you would change, one sentence why. Recommendations memo: improvements you would suggest based on our brief and 3D references. Inputs you receive 3D renders (interior + exterior). Architectural project, electrical plans + specialty project. HVAC drawings — finalized by 3 May 2026, added to the same folder. Written design brief + Pinterest board. Existing material specs. Onboarding meeting with the building company and CEO (after contract signed). Drive folder shared after you express interest. Format, language, communication PDF + DWG, both delivered. Drawing list, sheet numbering, revision block, north arrow where relevant. English only. All work and all communication happens in our shared Google Drive. WhatsApp only when something is on fire and needs instant attention. Everything else in Drive. Example: a quote of "3 days, $5,000" from someone who can deliver excellent results in 3 days is welcome and rewarded. Inflated timelines to justify price are not necessary. Quote a fixed price for the full scope, and include hour estimate per deliverable, with stated assumptions. Hourly rate for any out-of-scope work that may arise. One thing on pricing. We are not buying a single deliverable — we are starting a pipeline (3 villas confirmed, more behind them). That stable cashflow is part of what we offer. In return, we ask for pricing that reflects where you actually live and work with reasonable premium on top of that. If your quote matches what an EU agency charges, we will go with the agency — they bring team, insurance, licensing, and recourse that a solo contract on this platform does not. The match we are looking for is a strong independent freelance architect who prices honestly. We do not require official license, so this opens the door for every good expert around the world. Operating principles (read before applying) Asynchronous & written-first. We value deep work. We do not do "let's hop on a quick call" during proposals. Present your offer in writing first and make it so compelling that we want to schedule a call. Your offer shows us everything we need to make a decision. Onboarding meeting happens after contract signed. AI-integrated: we use AI tools to scale. Pareto: we focus on the 20% of actions that drive 80% of results. How proposals are evaluated Price — 30% Timeline (shorter delivery = better grade) — 30% Experience + portfolio — 15% Proposal quality — 15% Communication discipline (clarity, follows reply format) — 10% Response times Our response: 1 business day.
