Seeking an experienced US-based Mechanical Engineer / SolidWorks CAD designer to create production-ready 3D models and 2D engineering blueprints for a custom marine deck hardware assembly featuring internal mechanical components (recoil spring, locking mechanism). Deliverables Required: 1. Parametric 3D CAD Assembly and individual part files (SolidWorks / .STEP format). 2. Clean, dimensioned 2D engineering blueprints (.PDF) with tolerances and callouts suitable for CNC machining, 3D printing, and provisional patent documentation. 3. Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review ensuring proper material selection and mechanical clearances. Requirements: - Proven experience with mechanical kinematics and small-part assemblies. - Must sign a Mutual NDA before project details and sketches are shared. - 100% transfer of IP rights upon completion.
