Grant Writer – Workforce Development (Commission-Based) Location: Remote Compensation: 15% commission on successfully funded awards, paid upon verified receipt of funds Position Type: Independent Contractor / Performance-Based About Us My company is committed to developing the workforce of tomorrow by providing state approved adjuster license certification to become an Insurance Claims Adjuster for youth (18+), adults, veterans, returning citizens and underserved communities. Our mission is to connect individuals with high-demand careers through workforce development initiatives, occupational training, insurance claims education, adjuster licensing, career readiness, financial literacy, and job placement services. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Grant Writer to identify, research, and secure funding opportunities that support workforce development, career training, occupational licensing, education, apprenticeship programs, veteran employment, disaster workforce initiatives, and economic mobility. The ideal candidate has experience pursuing funding from federal, state, local, workforce boards, corporate partners, foundations, educational institutions, and other public or private funding sources that invest in workforce development. This is a commission-based opportunity with unlimited earning potential. You will receive 15% of all successfully funded awards upon verified receipt of funding. Responsibilities Research and identify funding opportunities that support: Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, narratives, and supporting documentation. Submit complete applications and manage funding deadlines. Provide regular updates on funding opportunities and application status. Assist with post-award reporting and compliance, when applicable. Qualifications: Experience securing workforce development grants or other workforce-related funding is preferred; however, we also welcome candidates who demonstrate the aptitude, initiative, and willingness to learn. Experience with federal, state, local, workforce board, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities or welcome candidates who demonstrate the aptitude, initiative, and willingness to learn. Strong proposal writing, research, budgeting, and project development skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a commission-based compensation structure. Compensation 15% commission on all successfully funded awards. Commission is paid upon verified receipt of funding. No compensation for unsuccessful applications.
