You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design new features, optimize application performance, and solve complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background in Ruby on Rails and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. Develop and scale robust web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise effective solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Integrate data storage solutions and third-party APIs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-quality code culture. Requirements Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer or similar role. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP). Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful APIs. Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Stimulus). Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and NoSQL databases like Redis. Experience with automated testing and continuous integration tools (e.g., RSpec, Minitest, Capybara). Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, primarily Git. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
