Summary

We run a Shopify-focused digital agency and we’re looking for a specialist we can bring in on client projects under our umbrella. This is not a one-off gig. If it works out, there’s consistent work here. We work with six-figure Shopify brands and are now actively expanding into mid-level brands with strong product potential that haven’t yet figured out why their store isn’t converting the way it should. That’s exactly where this role fits. What the work actually looks like: Our clients are established Shopify brands, typically fashion, lifestyle, or premium eCommerce. They come to us because something isn’t working and they can’t pinpoint it. Your job is to find it. That means a proper forensic audit across GA4, Shopify, Meta, and Klaviyo, combined with behavioural data from tools like Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or equivalent. Not a surface-level review. A real look at where the money is leaking, why customers are dropping off, where revenue is being left on the table, and what the highest-impact fixes are in order of priority. Scroll maps, click maps, session recordings, funnel drop-off, rage clicks. You know how to read this data and connect it to a commercial outcome, not just flag it. After the audit you produce a concise findings document and a 30 to 60 day roadmap. Clean, specific, and actionable. Not a 40-page PDF nobody reads. Beyond the audit, some engagements move into ongoing growth work: Klaviyo retention and flows, AI SEO, Meta and Google Ads optimisation, CRO implementation on Shopify. We need someone who can handle at least two or three of these at a serious level, not someone who claims to do all of them equally well. What we need from you: You think in revenue, not tasks. When you look at a Shopify store you’re not checking boxes, you’re asking where is this brand losing money and why. You can identify conversion leaks that aren’t obvious. Checkout drop-off, cart abandonment patterns, PDP friction, mobile experience gaps, traffic quality issues, discount dependency. You know what to look for and more importantly you know what it means commercially. You read GA4 properly and translate data into business decisions, not just report numbers back to the client. You have real Klaviyo experience. Flows, segmentation, revenue attribution, retention strategy. Not just sending broadcasts. You’ve worked with fashion or lifestyle brands before. The customer psychology and buying journey is different here and it shows in the work if you haven’t. You’re comfortable working behind the scenes. Your name won’t be on the deliverable. Ours will. If that’s a problem this isn’t the right fit. How to apply: Do not send a cover letter telling me you’re passionate about eCommerce and have years of experience. I don’t need that. Send me: - Two or three case studies. Real ones. Before and after numbers, what you did, what changed. Screenshots welcome. - The platforms you’re strongest in. Be specific and honest about where you’re average. - Your typical price range for a full audit engagement and for monthly retainer work. - One thing you’ve seen agencies consistently get wrong in Shopify CRO audits.
