Low Resolution Graphic Designer for Apparel

We are seeking a skilled graphic designer to create low resolution designs for CNC knitted apparel. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing low resolution art for CNC knitting machines and be proficient in Adobe Photoshop. This position will involve taking high resolution art and logos and translating them into something visually appealing that can be rendered in the low resolution knitted medium. For example, a knitted beanie hat uses a design that's only 240 pixels wide by 500-600 pixels tall and uses six colors or less. Very detailed logos or text won't display properly at these resolutions so we need someone who can take high resolution art and logos and creatively transform them into art representative of the original brand but that still displays well at a lower resolution. Sometimes you will need to design patterns that seamlessly repeat, as these designs need to be rendered as a rectangular bitmap image but when knitted into an actual product like a beanie or scarf, any patterns on the left side of the image need to match up with the right side of the image so that there's no visible seam in the pattern as it wraps around the hat or sock.
