# Luxury Editorial Designer Needed for High-End Real Estate Brand Profile ## Project Overview I am looking for an **exceptional graphic designer specializing in luxury editorial design, luxury real estate, hospitality, architecture, fashion, or high-end brand publications** to redesign an existing 38-page company profile for **NAVA Select**, a boutique experiential and lifestyle real estate advisory. The content and strategic positioning have already been developed. The problem is the **visual execution**. The current document is polished and professional, but it still feels too much like a corporate company profile. I want it transformed into a **refined, sophisticated editorial publication** that feels appropriate for a highly selective luxury real estate and private advisory brand. Think less: **Corporate brochure / real estate company profile / PowerPoint** and more: **Aman / Monocle / high-end architecture publication / luxury hospitality brand / private wealth publication / sophisticated independent magazine.** The final document should feel **quiet, rare, intelligent, restrained and highly art-directed**, rather than flashy or conventionally "luxury." ## The Brand NAVA Select is an experiential and lifestyle real estate advisory focused on exceptional properties, intentional ownership, stewardship, legacy, conservation, architecture and long-term value. The brand is deliberately boutique and selective. We are not trying to look like a conventional real estate agency. The visual identity should communicate: * Discretion * Sophistication * Cultural intelligence * Architectural sensitivity * Editorial credibility * Restraint * Exclusivity * Timelessness * Strong visual taste ## What I Need I already have the complete 38-page profile, including the copy, structure, brand direction and content. I need you to **re-art-direct and redesign the document**, not simply place the existing text into a nicer template. This means rethinking: * Page composition * Typography and hierarchy * Image selection and treatment * White space * Editorial pacing * Full-page and double-page imagery * Pull quotes and statements * Data presentation * Section openers * Visual transitions * Diagrams and ecosystem visualizations * Tables and service sections * Founder presentation * Closing pages * Overall publication rhythm The document should feel like a **cohesive luxury editorial publication from beginning to end**, rather than 38 individually designed corporate pages. ## Very Important I am **not looking for a generic "luxury" designer** who simply uses gold text, black backgrounds, serif fonts and oversized photographs. I am looking for someone who understands **editorial restraint and high-end art direction**. The design should be sophisticated without being decorative. It should feel expensive because of **composition, typography, photography, proportion, pacing and restraint**, not because of obvious luxury effects. ### The desired feeling If someone opens the document, I want their immediate reaction to be: **"This feels different."** **"This feels very considered."** **"This is a serious luxury brand."** **"These people have taste."** It should feel closer to a **private advisory / cultural institution / luxury property house** than a traditional real estate agency. ## Existing Material I will provide: * Existing 38-page NAVA Select profile * NAVA brand identity * Logo * Brand colours * Existing copy * Existing structure * Existing imagery where appropriate You are expected to improve the visual system and art direction while respecting the underlying brand. ## Deliverables 1. Complete redesign of the 38-page NAVA Select profile 2. Refined editorial typography system 3. Consistent page/grid system 4. High-end image direction and image sourcing recommendations 5. Redesigned charts/data pages 6. Redesigned ecosystem/relationship diagrams 7. Refined service and representation pages 8. Stronger section-opening pages 9. Print-ready PDF 10. Editable source file in Adobe InDesign preferred 11. All linked/packaged design assets 12. A reusable NAVA editorial design system that can be applied to future publications ## The Standard I Am Looking For Please do not apply a pre-existing template. I want the publication to feel **custom-designed specifically for NAVA Select**. The existing content is strong. The objective is to elevate its visual expression so that the **design is operating at the same level as the positioning**. ## Ideal Designer You should have demonstrated experience designing for at least one of the following: * Luxury real estate * Luxury hospitality * Architecture * Interior design * Fashion * Private wealth / family offices * High-end lifestyle brands * Art and culture * Premium editorial publications * Luxury magazines * Boutique consulting or advisory firms Strong **editorial typography and art-direction skills are essential.** Experience with **Adobe InDesign** is strongly preferred. ## Application Requirements Please do not send a generic portfolio. I want to see **3–5 examples of your strongest editorial/luxury publication work**, preferably showing: * Luxury brochures * Brand books * Editorial publications * Architecture or real estate publications * Hospitality publications * High-end corporate/editorial profiles For each example, briefly explain **what you personally designed**. I am particularly interested in seeing how you handle **typography, photography, whitespace, page rhythm and information-heavy pages.** ### Important screening question Please answer this in your proposal: **Looking at the attached NAVA Select profile, what are the three biggest visual problems you would address to make it feel genuinely luxury-editorial rather than corporate?** I am much more interested in your design thinking than a generic statement about being "creative." ## Selection Process I will shortlist designers based on the quality and relevance of their portfolio and their understanding of the brief. Before the full project is awarded, I may ask shortlisted candidates to redesign **2–3 selected pages from the existing profile as a paid design test** so I can evaluate whether the visual direction is right for the brand. The right designer will have significant creative freedom, but the final work must remain aligned with NAVA Select's positioning. ## Please Only Apply If... You genuinely understand the difference between: **premium corporate design** and **luxury editorial art direction.** I am looking for the latter. This is an opportunity to establish the visual language for a sophisticated African luxury real estate brand that will eventually extend into editorial publications, property presentations, investor materials, membership materials and other brand experiences. Please include your **portfolio, relevant examples, availability, estimated timeline and proposed project fee**.
