Luxury Residential Design Consultant (Interior + Exterior)

About the Project I am a licensed custom home builder in Michigan looking to hire an experienced design consultant to collaborate on a luxury custom home from the design phase through construction. This is not a decorating project. I’m looking for someone who understands architecture, materials, proportion, and construction, and can help elevate every design decision inside and out. I want someone who is confident enough to challenge ideas, offer better solutions, and help create a home that feels timeless for decades. This will be a collaborative relationship with the builder, architect, and homeowner. ⸻ Design Philosophy The goal is to create a home that feels: * Timeless * Warm and inviting * Modern without being trendy * Clean and intentional * Elegant through simplicity and proportion * Rich in natural materials * Highly detailed without feeling busy I’m not interested in designs that follow short-lived trends.
