Luxury Wedding Video Editor — Highlight Films, Social Cuts & Feature Edits (Ongoing Freelance)

We are a New York City luxury wedding photography and film studio seeking a skilled, detail-obsessed video editor to join our roster on a project-by-project basis. Our work lives in the high end of the market, and our films need to reflect that. If you have a refined eye, a feel for what is current, and you can color grade beautifully, we want to see your reel. About the work We shoot elevated, editorial weddings for discerning clients. Our films are emotional, cinematic, and timeless, but never stiff. We are looking for an editor who understands that balance, someone who can make a film feel both classic and current, and who keeps a pulse on where wedding film trends are moving without chasing gimmicks. What you would deliver per wedding One highlight film, approximately 6 minutes, fully edited and color graded Two short-form Instagram clips cut for social, vertical-friendly One long-form feature film, approximately 2 to 3 hours, lightly edited (ceremony, speeches, key moments assembled cleanly with basic correction) Footage and technical details All footage is shot in 4K Recorded in S-Log, so you must be comfortable working with log footage and bringing it to a polished, natural, true-to-skin grade You will work from multi-camera footage and audio from multiple sources We will provide music suggestions for the highlight and social clips; you are welcome to bring ideas as well What we are looking for A genuine eye for luxury and editorial aesthetics, this is the most important thing Strong, confident color grading skills, especially with S-Log footage Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro A sense for pacing, music, and emotional storytelling Awareness of current trends in wedding and short-form film, applied tastefully Reliability and clear communication, with the ability to deliver within 8 weeks per wedding Bonus: experience with multi-cam sync, audio cleanup, and motion or text for social cuts Engagement and pay This is ongoing freelance work, project by project, paid at a flat rate per wedding. Please include your per-wedding rate based on the deliverables above in your proposal. If the first project is a strong fit, there is steady work to follow. Turnaround Standard turnaround per wedding is 8 weeks (2 months) from the date footage is provided.
