# Luxury E-commerce Product Retoucher Needed Immediately — Aluminium Suitcases We are looking for an experienced commercial product retoucher to professionally edit a collection of RAW e-commerce images for a premium aluminium luggage brand. The photographs were taken in RAW format on a Canon 5D using a 100mm macro lens against a white studio background. The original lighting is good, but the images require professional background removal, alignment, lighting correction and consistent high-end retouching. This is an urgent project. You must be available to begin immediately and prioritise the work. Please do not apply unless you can start now and deliver the first completed images as soon as possible. ## The Objective The final images must look like premium commercial e-commerce photography at the standard of luxury luggage brands such as: * RIMOWA * Monos * TUMI * Carl Friedrik * Horizn Studios * Away The images will be used across our website and product pages. As customers scroll between photographs, every image must feel visually consistent. The suitcase should remain in almost exactly the same position, scale and alignment throughout the image sequence. Background colour, lighting, shadows, reflections and aluminium tones must also remain consistent. ## Required Editing You will need to: * Process and professionally retouch the RAW files. * Remove the existing studio background cleanly. * Place every product on the same consistent white or very light neutral background. * Centre and straighten every suitcase precisely. * Correct the perspective so the suitcase appears square-on where appropriate. * Match the scale and positioning between images. * Ensure consistent spacing around the suitcase. * Match the lighting and exposure across the full product image set. * Maintain consistent aluminium colour and brightness between photographs. * Refine reflections and highlights without making the suitcase look computer-generated. * Remove dust, marks, fingerprints, small scratches and studio imperfections where appropriate. * Clean and refine the wheels, locks, handles, corners, hinges and metal details. * Improve the visibility and sharpness of the branding without changing its design. * Create a premium but realistic grounding shadow. * Preserve the authentic brushed aluminium texture. * Preserve the exact product shape, proportions, construction and design. * Ensure the images look natural, photographic and commercially retouched rather than AI-generated. * Prepare the images at the correct dimensions and resolution for a luxury e-commerce website. Some products may have been photographed at slightly different angles or with small changes in lighting. These differences must be corrected so the final image sequence feels cohesive. ## Important Retouching Rules The product must not be redesigned or altered. Do not: * Change the suitcase’s proportions or shape. * Replace or recreate product components. * invent new product details. * Over-smooth the aluminium. * Remove the natural brushed metal texture. * Add unrealistic reflections or highlights. * Make the product appear like a 3D render. * Over-sharpen the image. * Use obvious AI-generated replacements. We want high-end manual retouching and photographic correction, not a regenerated version of the product. ## Product Consistency This is one of the most important parts of the project. When customers move between images on the product page: * The suitcase should remain centred. * The suitcase should remain at a consistent scale. * The background must remain identical. * The aluminium colour must remain consistent. * The lighting must feel as though every image was taken during the same studio session. * Shadows and reflections should follow a consistent visual style. * The overall image crop and margins must remain consistent. The finished images should feel like a carefully art-directed luxury e-commerce campaign. ## Initial Project and Ongoing Work The main priority is our aluminium suitcase collection. However, we also have several additional products requiring the same level of professional e-commerce retouching. This may become ongoing work for the right freelancer. We would like to begin with a small number of images to confirm the retouching style and consistency before completing the entire collection. ## Deliverables Please provide: * High-resolution final TIFF or PSD files. * Layered working files where possible. * High-quality website-ready JPG or PNG exports. * Consistent dimensions, crop, positioning and background across all images. * Both full-resolution master files and optimised website versions. * Accurate colour profile suitable for web use. * No unnecessary compression or reduction in image quality. ## Who We Are Looking For You should have proven experience in: * Luxury product photography retouching. * Premium e-commerce image editing. * Aluminium, chrome, metal or reflective products. * Background removal and realistic shadow creation. * Perspective correction. * Colour and exposure matching across multiple images. * Working professionally with RAW files. * Adobe Photoshop and Camera Raw. * Maintaining realistic product texture and detail.
