Freelance MEP Drafter (AutoCAD) – Based in Indonesia (Bali Preferred) Company: LSK Consulting Location: Indonesia (Preferably Bali, possibly remote) Job Type: Freelance – Part-time or Full-time Retainer Start: Immediate 🏗️ About Us We are a multidisciplinary consulting and engineering company specializing in MEP, renewable energy, and sustainable resort development across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Our projects include eco-resorts, villas, boutique hotels, off-grid facilities, and infrastructure systems such as solar PV, BESS, water, waste, and cooling. We’re a small, hands-on, and passionate team committed to creating smart, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions. We’re looking for a motivated MEP drafter to join our team — someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and who wants to grow into a design engineer role over time. 🧭 Main Responsibilities • Draft and update MEP coordination drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) from sketches, markups, or engineer inputs. • Prepare AutoCAD drawings and/or Revit models for: o Electrical layouts (power, lighting, grounding, ICT) o Plumbing systems (cold/hot water, sanitary, rainwater) o HVAC systems (AC, ventilation, ducting) o Fire fighting and auxiliary systems (optional advantage) • Maintain drawing standards, layers, title blocks, and file organization. • Produce professional and clean CAD/PDF deliverables ready for submission. • Join online coordination meetings with the design team when required. 🧰 Requirements • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering, or a related technical field. • Minimum 4 years of drafting experience in MEP or building services. • Strong skills in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a big plus). • Familiarity with Indonesian standards (SNI) and/or international codes (IEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.). • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to follow engineering instructions accurately. • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia. • Preferably based in Bali, or available for occasional in-person meetings in Bali or Jakarta. 🌿 Nice to Have • Experience with design engineering (load calculations, sizing, basic layouts). • Experience in resort, villa, or hospitality projects. • Knowledge of renewable energy or sustainable building systems (solar, water, waste, cooling). • Basic capability in 3D visualization & design. • Experience with making design brief and presentations. 💼 What We Offer • Monthly retainer (part-time or full-time) based on experience and availability. • Long-term collaboration with potential to evolve into a Design Engineer role. • Opportunity to work on unique, sustainable resort projects across Indonesia. • Mentorship and training by senior MEP and sustainability engineers. • Career growth: possibility to transition into a long-term contract and grow with the company as it expands. 💰 Budget & Application • Monthly retainer (depending on experience and workload). • Please include in your proposal: o Short self-introduction & location o Portfolio (sample MEP drawings) o Software used (AutoCAD / Revit / others) o Expected monthly rate (part-time or full-time) Examples of our projects: • Eco-resorts and villas in Bali and Eastern Indonesia • Off-grid hybrid power and water systems • Hospitality and infrastructure design in tropical environments
