MERN Stack Developer for E-Commerce Application Development & Debugging Code

We are looking for a talented full-stack developer to build a custom e-commerce platform from scratch using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) stack. The developer will also be tasked with reviewing and debugging existing code to resolve any performance issues, bugs, or functionality gaps in the system. Key Responsibilities: • Build a Scalable E-Commerce Platform: Design and develop the application from the ground up, including features like product catalog, shopping cart, user authentication, payment gateway integration, and order management. • Debug Existing Code: Review and debug the current codebase, addressing any bugs, improving performance, and optimizing the code for better user experience. • Ensure Responsive UI/UX: Create a seamless and responsive front-end for a smooth user experience across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). • Payment Integration: Implement secure payment systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to handle transactions smoothly and securely. • API Integration: Integrate with third-party APIs such as inventory management, shipping, and customer support systems. • Security: Ensure that the platform is secure, especially in terms of handling user data, payments, and order information. Required Skills: • MERN Stack proficiency: Experience with MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js for both back-end and front-end development. • E-commerce Experience: Familiarity with e-commerce features such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout processes, and payment gateways. • API Integration: Experience integrating with external services like Stripe, PayPal, or other third-party systems. • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of secure coding practices to protect user data, transactions, and sensitive information. • UI/UX Design: Experience in building responsive, user-friendly interfaces with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (e.g., React). • Version Control: Experience using Git for version control. Nice to Have: • Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms. • Familiarity with GraphQL for API design and optimization. • Knowledge of SEO strategies to improve product visibility and ranking. • Prior experience with e-commerce-specific technologies (e.g., inventory management systems, order tracking).
