META Ads Expert (Consumer Brand / eCommerce) – Scale a Fun Science & Gift Brand About Us GIANTmicrobes is a niche consumer brand that creates educational plush toys inspired by microbes, cells, organs, and other health and science topics. Our products make science approachable through humor and education, and are sold through our Magento store, Amazon, TikTok Shop, museums, hospitals, universities, and gift retailers. We have a passionate and engaged customer base and regularly collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, patient advocates, students, and science communicators to make learning about health and science more accessible and fun. We're looking for an experienced Meta Ads expert to help us scale our direct-to-consumer business through strategic Facebook and Instagram advertising. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who has successfully managed paid social campaigns for consumer brands, ideally in eCommerce. You should have a deep understanding of the Meta advertising ecosystem and stay current with the platform's latest features, targeting capabilities, algorithm changes, and best practices. We're looking for someone who doesn't just launch ads - they know who to target, when to target them, and how to continuously optimize campaigns for growth. Responsibilities Develop and execute a scalable Meta advertising strategy Manage Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns from planning to optimization Continuously test and optimize campaign structures, budgets, bidding strategies, placements, and creatives Build and optimize audience strategies using: Retargeting audiences, Lookalike audiences, Detailed interest targeting. Broad targeting Customer lists and custom audiences Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns and other Meta automation tools where appropriate Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve ROAS, CPA, and customer acquisition Scale winning campaigns while maintaining profitability Collaborate with our internal marketing team on creative testing, promotions, and seasonal campaigns Stay ahead of Meta platform updates, privacy changes, and emerging advertising trends Ideal Experience 3+ years managing Meta Ads for consumer/eCommerce brands Proven track record of scaling campaigns with measurable ROAS and revenue growth Strong understanding of Meta Pixel, Conversion API, and attribution Extensive experience with audience strategy, including retargeting, lookalikes, broad audiences, and detailed targeting Skilled in creative testing and data-driven optimization Comfortable identifying new customer acquisition opportunities while improving existing campaign performance Bonus: Experience marketing educational products, gifts, plush toys, or science-related brands When You Apply Please include: Examples of consumer or eCommerce brands you've managed Typical monthly ad spend you've overseen Results you've achieved (ROAS, CPA, MER, revenue growth, etc.) Your approach to audience targeting and campaign scaling A brief overview of how you structure prospecting vs. retargeting campaigns Any case studies or portfolio examples We're looking for someone who thinks strategically, communicates clearly, and genuinely understands how to grow consumer brands through Meta advertising.
