Macedonian Editor Needed — Prompt & Website Translation (for Travel Content)

We are looking for a native Macedonian editor/copywriter with experience in travel, lifestyle, or marketing content to help us refine and test a Macedonian localization prompt used for translating our travel website into Macedonian. This is not only a one-off translation review. The goal is to make the prompt itself produce consistently natural, high-quality Macedonian output for readers in Macedonia — by reading it carefully, improving the rules and wording inside it, then testing it on real articles in ChatGPT and iterating until the translations are reliably good. The target audience for the final translations is Macedonian-speaking readers based in Macedonia. The content is travel-related: Tanzania safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs, and blog articles. ❗️We have already completed several iterations of prompt improvements and generated several live website pages based on the updated prompt. At this stage, we need you to review the current prompt and then evaluate the actual translated URLs to see how the prompt performs in real website content. What you will receive: - Macedonian prompt with rules, glossary, and style guidelines - A short setup guide for working with the prompt in ChatGPT - Translated website URLs for testing What you'll do: - Carefully read the prompt and understand its structure, logic, and purpose. - Set up the prompt in ChatGPT as instructed. - Check the translated website URLs and evaluate the quality of the Macedonian output in real context. - Identify whether there are still recurring issues, such as overly literal translation, unnatural wording, inconsistent terminology, awkward sentence structure, wrong tone of voice, regional mismatch, or formatting problems. - Suggest additional prompt-level improvements if needed. If necessary, test the updated prompt again on a few sample texts to make sure the same issues are not repeated. The goal is not to manually rewrite every page, but to understand whether the current prompt already works well enough and, if not, what exactly should be improved inside the prompt. What we're NOT asking for: Manual translation of individual articles, or automated AI evaluation of the prompt. We need a native Macedonian speaker who can hear what sounds off and translate that instinct into clear, working rules inside the prompt. Ideal candidate: - Native Macedonian speaker, preferably based in Macedonia or fully familiar with contemporary Macedonian editorial standards - Background in travel writing, marketing content, translation, editing, or localization - Able to explain why certain Macedonian wording sounds natural or unnatural for a Macedonian audience - Comfortable working with ChatGPT or willing to follow clear step-by-step instructions Deliverables: Short report summarizing your evaluation of the current translated URLs List of recurring issues, if any Suggested changes to the prompt, if further improvements are needed Final refined prompt, if prompt edits are required Expected timeline: 1 day after receiving the materials. This could include reviewing articles after they have been translated with our prompt, making sure the final text sounds natural, polished, accurate, and fully adapted for a Macedonian-speaking audience.
