Machine Learning Engineer for Document AI

We are looking for a remote Machine Learning Engineer to help build and deploy production document-AI systems. The work centres on optical character recognition (OCR), document analysis, computer vision, and NLP/LLM components that automate document-heavy operational processes. You will develop and optimise deep-learning models, build end-to-end ML pipelines (data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation, inference), and deploy them using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern MLOps practices. Essential skills: strong Python; TensorFlow and/or PyTorch; OpenCV; and hands-on experience with OCR and computer vision. Familiarity with LLMs and document-analysis techniques (e.g., TrOCR) is a strong plus. This is an ongoing, fully remote contract role with flexible hours.
