Magazine Designer

We are seeking a freelance magazine designer to create a visually compelling publication that tells the story of our graduate theological school—who we are, what we do, and the people who make our mission possible. This magazine will highlight profiles and feature stories about students, faculty, staff, board members, alumni, and donors while reflecting the school’s identity, values, and community. The designer will be responsible for magazine layout and design, developing cohesive visual storytelling elements, managing typography and image placement, and preparing print-ready and digital files. The ideal candidate has experience designing editorial publications, strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex stories and institutional messaging into engaging, accessible layouts.
