[OPEN TO CANDIDATES FROM INDIA ONLY] We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts professional to take complete ownership of our accounting and finance function. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations through a small team, ensuring financial compliance, maintaining accurate books of accounts, and providing management with timely financial insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to financial planning, reporting, and business support. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping Own and oversee the complete accounting function of the organization. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts. Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and treasury operations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies. Team Management Lead and manage a team of two accounting professionals. Allocate responsibilities, review work quality, and establish operating processes. Train and mentor team members to improve efficiency and accuracy. Build appropriate controls and accountability within the finance function. Financial Reporting & MIS Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Develop and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and business performance metrics. Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, cash flows, and working capital trends. Present key financial insights and recommendations to leadership. Compliance & Controls Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and external stakeholders. Oversee statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory filings. Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Strategic Finance Support Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies. Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions and growth initiatives. Desired Qualifications 7–12 years of experience in accounting and finance roles. Prior experience leading a finance team. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, ERP systems, and advanced Excel. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Success Metrics Accurate and timely monthly closing. Zero major compliance lapses. Strong cash flow visibility and reporting. Reliable management dashboards and financial insights. Efficient finance operations managed through the accounting team. Improved financial controls and process discipline across the organization.
