Manager to launch & run multilingual YouTube channels (dubbing into French, Portuguese, Japanese...)

We run an established YouTube channel with millions of subscribers and a proven track record of viral short-form videos (animation with voiceover). The content already works — we're now expanding it into new languages, and we're looking for a manager to launch and run these new-language channels and grow them into successful channels of their own. IMPORTANT — THIS IS A MANAGEMENT ROLE, NOT A TRANSLATION ROLE. You will NOT translate or voice the content yourself. Your job is to orchestrate the whole localization operation: organize the dubbing, build and manage a small team of native freelancers, own quality control, handle uploads, and grow the channels. If you're a translator looking for per-word work, this isn't the role — but if you've run or managed multilingual / localized channels and you think like an operator, keep reading. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Set up and run new YouTube channels, one per language - Organize the dubbing of our existing videos using AI voice tools (e.g. ElevenLabs) combined with native freelancers - Build and manage a small team of native speakers per language for voiceover, translation review and quality control (QC) - Own quality control: make sure the voiceover and subtitles in each language sound natural and read correctly. Since we can't verify every language ourselves, you'll arrange native QC before anything goes live - Handle uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, scheduling and day-to-day channel management - Track performance and double down on the languages that perform best - Treat the project as your own and grow it over the long term LANGUAGES (PRIORITY) Our main focus is French, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Korean and Arabic. A few more languages may follow later, but these five are the priority — we want them done well rather than spreading thin. YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU - Have managed or grown YouTube channels before — ideally multilingual or localization work - Are comfortable with AI dubbing / voice tools and modern content workflows - Are great at managing freelancers and keeping quality high - Are organized, proactive, and take ownership without being micromanaged - Want a long-term, full-time role and to grow with the project Note: our original content is in Spanish, so Spanish is a strong plus — it'll help you understand the source material and brief your team. It's not strictly required if you have the right experience. TERMS Long-term, contract-to-hire. Compensation combines a base during the ramp-up period plus a revenue share that grows as the channels grow — the better the channels do, the better you do. We'll work out the specifics together.
