To develop and standardize a Ready-to-Drink (RTD) functional beverage formulation that delivers an optimal balance of taste, nutrition, stability, and cost-effectiveness using ingredients that are easily available in India. Scope of Work: • Selection of functional ingredients based on nutritional benefits and consumer demand. • Evaluation of ingredient compatibility, flavor profile, and sensory acceptance. • Optimization of sweetness, acidity, mouthfeel, and overall palatability. • Standardization of ingredient quantities and processing parameters. • Assessment of product stability, shelf life, and packaging compatibility. • Cost analysis to ensure affordability for commercial-scale production. • Development of a reproducible formulation suitable for pilot and industrial manufacturing. Expected Outcome: A standardized RTD functional beverage formulation with desirable taste, nutritional value, product stability, and commercially viable production costs. (I would like to work on standardizing a functional RTD beverage formulation using ingredients that are easily available in the Indian market. My goal is to develop a formulation that is tasty, nutritious, low in sugar, and uses natural sweeteners while remaining affordable and commercially viable.
