Summary

--- ## Project Description I run **nopaywall.net**, a free web utility that helps users find readable archived, cached, or open-access versions of article URLs. I am looking for someone to do a small paid test project focused on **real manual placements and useful mentions**, not just prospect research. This is **not** a bulk SEO backlink job. Please do **not** apply if you use: ```txt PBNs DA/DR backlink packages guest-post farms spam comments automated forum posting AI-generated SEO articles irrelevant directories hacked link insertions fake accounts mass Reddit spam mass Wikipedia spam ``` I want careful manual work where the tool is mentioned only in places where it is genuinely useful. ## Important positioning The tool should be described as: ```txt nopaywall.net helps users find readable archived, cached, or open-access versions of article URLs. ``` Do **not** describe it as: ```txt hacking paywalls stealing paid articles unlocking premium content bypassing every paywall ``` The tone should be helpful, not promotional. ## What I need done For this first $100 test, I want the freelancer to actually perform manual outreach / placement work. Good placement types include: ```txt - forum discussions where users ask for a readable version of a paywalled article - Reddit/Hacker News-style discussions where a specific article is being discussed and someone mentions the paywall - blog/resource/tool-list pages that already mention RemovePaywall, 12ft Ladder, paywall tools, research tools, or useful websites - Spanish, Portuguese, German, and English discussions about reading articles behind paywalls - comments or replies where an article-specific nopaywall result link genuinely helps the conversation - outreach messages to relevant tool-list/resource-page owners asking them to include nopaywall.net as an alternative ``` ## Wikipedia / wiki-style sites Wikipedia or wiki-style sites may be considered **only when appropriate and policy-compliant**. Do **not** spam Wikipedia. Do **not** add nopaywall.net to random pages. Do **not** promote nopaywall as a general tool on Wikipedia pages. Acceptable cases may include: ```txt - a citation is broken, inaccessible, or paywalled - nopaywall finds a stable archived/open/cached readable version - the edit genuinely improves the citation for readers - the edit follows the site’s rules ``` If Wikipedia is not appropriate, skip it. I prefer no Wikipedia links over risky or promotional edits. ## Deliverables for this $100 test Please deliver: ```txt 10–20 completed manual actions ``` A completed action can be: ```txt - a relevant forum/reddit/community reply with a nopaywall result link - a relevant discussion reply where nopaywall is suggested as a tool - a personalized outreach message sent to a tool-list/resource-page owner - a legitimate wiki-style citation/helpful-source edit, if appropriate - a submitted suggestion to a resource page or alternatives list ``` For every completed action, provide a spreadsheet with: ```txt URL platform/site name language type of action exact text used link used why it was relevant status: live / pending / removed / no response risk notes ``` Also include a short final summary: ```txt - number of actions completed - number currently live - number pending - best opportunities found - what should be repeated next - what should be avoided ``` ## Quality rules Each mention must be: ```txt manual relevant contextual non-spammy helpful to the discussion/page ``` Bad examples: ```txt “Great post, check nopaywall.net” “Best paywall remover here: nopaywall.net” Posting the same message everywhere Creating fake conversations Adding links where nobody asked Using misleading claims ``` Good examples: ```txt “For anyone hitting the paywall, this found an archived/open version: [nopaywall result link]” “This tool checks archived, cached, and open-access versions: https://nopaywall.net” “You might also include nopaywall.net as a free alternative; it checks archived/cached/open-access versions of article URLs.” ``` ## Application questions Please answer: ```txt 1. How would you find real places where mentioning nopaywall.net is useful? 2. What platforms or communities would you target first? 3. What types of placements would you avoid? 4. Are you comfortable doing manual work only, with no spam or automation? 5. Can you provide a report with URLs, text used, and status for each action? 6. Give 3 example messages you might post or send. ``` Applications offering backlink packages, guaranteed DA links, PBNs, mass guest posts, or automated posting will be ignored. ## Budget ```txt $100 fixed price ``` This is a small test. If the work is high quality and the placements are real, relevant, and safe, I may continue with a larger monthly budget. ---
