Manual QA Engineer for SaaS Marketing Platform

We are seeking a manual QA engineer with experience in SaaS email marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing. # Responsibilities ## Test Case Management * Build and maintain a comprehensive, well-organized suite of test cases covering the platform * Identify and maintain a subset of critical test cases required to approve releases * Collaborate with or QA Automation Engineer in turning manual tests to automated * Ensure test coverage evolves with new features and changes ## Release Validation * Execute (or ensure execution of) critical test cases before each release (manual and automated) * Provide clear go/no-go recommendations based on test results * Report test outcomes in a structured and actionable way ## Bug Detection & Quality Feedback * Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps * Extract information from logs and other monitoring tools * Collaborate with developers to ensure issues are well understood and resolved * Validate fixes and prevent regressions # Feature QA * Perform QA testing (manual) for new features and changes * Ensure new functionality meets quality standards before release # Requirements * Experience with email-related platforms (email marketing) * Strong understanding of how systems work end-to-end (frontend, backend, integrations, logs) * Ability to design and organize QA processes, not just execute tests * Strong attention to detail and structured thinking * Ability to work autonomously and take ownership with minimal supervision ## Nice to have: * Experience with automated testing (for API e.g., Jest, Supertest, or similar, for UI testing e.g., Cypress, Playwright) * Experience with end-to-end testing workflows tools (e.g., Testmail.app, Pipedream or similar)
