Manual QA / User Tester Needed for Software Application

About the role: We're looking for a detail-oriented manual tester to join our team and work closely with our developers to ensure our software application delivers a smooth, bug-free experience. You'll be embedded in our development workflow -- testing features as they ship, flagging issues early, and helping the team ship with confidence. All task and bug tracking is managed in Asana, so comfort with that tool is a must. Responsibilities: Collaborate directly with developers to test new features and bug fixes as they are built Execute manual test cases across core application workflows Log, track, and follow up on bugs in Asana with clear steps to reproduce Verify that reported bugs are resolved before features are signed off Provide usability feedback from a real end-user perspective Communicate clearly and proactively with the dev team on findings and blockers Requirements: Proven experience in manual QA or user testing (examples or portfolio preferred) Hands-on experience with Asana for task or bug management Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports that developers can act on immediately Comfortable working directly alongside a dev team in an agile or iterative environment Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing Reliable communication and ability to meet sprint deadlines Excellent written and spoken English Nice to have: Experience testing web and/or mobile applications Familiarity with agile workflows and sprint cycles Background in UX or usability evaluation Basic understanding of how software is built (no coding required)
