Manufacturing Process / Fixture Design Consultant for Medical Device Assembly

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing/process engineer to help design and optimize fixtures, tooling, and small equipment for new medical device assembly processes. The work will focus on several bonding steps, including UV adhesive bonding, where we need to improve repeatability, efficiency, operator usability, and manufacturing cost. The consultant should be able to help evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, design practical fixtures, and support implementation of cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Ideal experience includes medical device manufacturing, catheter or small-device assembly, UV adhesives, adhesive dispensing, fixture design, process optimization, benchtop equipment, semi-automation, and design for manufacturability. Deliverables may include fixture concepts, CAD models/drawings, prototype fixture recommendations, process improvement recommendations, and basic manufacturing documentation. We are looking for someone practical and hands-on who can help develop real-world manufacturing solutions, not just theoretical concepts. Experience supporting R&D-to-manufacturing transfer in a regulated environment is a strong plus.
