AI Market Intelligence Strategist – Hyperlocal Parcel Delivery Service Viability (USA & Canada)
Worldwide
So here's the idea. We want to launch a small parcel delivery service in the US and Canada : something along the lines of what Pathao does in Bangladesh. On-demand, affordable, fast, and built for everyday people and small businesses who find FedEx and UPS either too expensive, too slow, or just too impersonal for small deliveries. Before we put any real money into operations or tech, we want to know one thing: is there actually a market for this, and if so, where? That's where you come in. We're not asking you to build anything. We just need someone who knows how to use AI tools and paid ads to go out there, poke the market, and come back with real answers : not guesses. What we need you to do: 1. Look at the US and Canadian delivery landscape and tell us where the big guys (FedEx, UPS, Amazon) are dropping the ball : which cities, which states, which communities are underserved or just fed up with the current options. 2. Run some targeted ads on Meta or Google : or use whatever AI-driven approach you prefer : and see where people actually respond. Not just likes, but real intent. Who fills out a form? Who asks a follow-up question? That's the data we care about. 3. We have a hunch that South Asian diaspora communities : places like Brampton, Surrey, Jersey City, Houston : might be a natural early market given the Pathao familiarity. We'd love for you to test that theory and tell us if it holds up. 4. Help us figure out pricing. We genuinely don't know if people will pay $5 flat, $3.99 distance-based, or if small businesses would prefer a monthly package deal. Run the tests and tell us what actually gains traction. 5. Give us a quick read on any regulatory headaches we should know about : gig worker laws, courier licensing, that kind of thing : for whichever markets come out on top. What we want to walk away with: 1. A short list of the top 3–5 US states and 2–3 Canadian provinces where this has the best shot. 2. A breakdown of who the likely first customers are : individuals, small shops, restaurants, diaspora networks : and what they actually care about. 3. Clear pricing data showing which model got the most real interest. 4. An honest Go/No-Go recommendation. If the numbers don't support it, tell us. That's more valuable than a polished pitch that leads us nowhere. Who we're looking for: Someone who has actually validated a service business before : not just run ads, but turned campaign data into a real business decision. You should know your way around Meta Ads Manager, have a handle on the North American delivery market, and be comfortable using AI tools to speed up research and analysis. If you've worked with logistics startups or done market entry work for South Asian or immigrant-founded businesses, that's a big plus.
