Marketing Account Executive - Medical Device Partner Programs About Medical Marketing Whiz Medical Marketing Whiz is a digital marketing agency serving medical, aesthetics, women's health, functional medicine, and weight loss practices nationwide. Our clients are physicians and practice owners who invest meaningfully in their marketing and expect a partner who can match their authority. We operate Monday through Thursday, 9am to 5pm ET. The Role This role supports a different kind of client relationship than our standard retainer accounts. Our medical device partners bundle our marketing program in with the sale of their equipment, so the clinics you'll work with are brand new to Medical Marketing Whiz and usually didn't come looking for a marketing partner on their own. Their goal is to use the program to help recoup their investment in the device, and your job is to get their deliverables moving so they see real results as fast as possible. Because these clients didn't seek us out, getting a foothold with them is the central challenge of this job. Some are engaged and responsive. Many are busy running a clinic and will let calls and emails sit for days or weeks unless someone actively keeps the thread alive. This is that someone. If the program goes well, it's often the start of something longer. A meaningful number of these clients like what they see and convert into standard monthly retainer clients once their device program deliverables wrap up. Every interaction is a chance to build that relationship, not just check a box. What You'll Own - Primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of device partnership accounts. Portfolio size varies by track and by the size of each client's program, since device programs range widely in scope. - Persistent, proactive outreach. This is the top requirement of the role. You will regularly need to make multiple calls and send multiple emails to the same client just to get a response and keep deliverables moving. If you're not comfortable following up repeatedly, and won't take a non-response personally, this isn't the right seat. - Fulfilling and coordinating deliverables across SEO, paid ads, Google Business Profile optimization, listings management, email newsletters, and press releases, working with our internal specialist team to get the work executed. - Explaining deliverables and progress to clients in plain terms, so they understand what's being done and why it matters for their investment. - Relationship building from day one. Since this is often a client's first experience with Medical Marketing Whiz, you're setting the tone for whether they see us as a short-term box to check or a long-term partner. - Flagging at-risk or unresponsive accounts early, so we can adjust the outreach strategy before a program stalls. - Coordinating execution with internal specialists across SEO, ads, web, design, and automation. Required Experience - Comfortable being the one who picks up the phone, again and again, until you get a response. This role lives and dies on follow-up discipline. - Working knowledge of Local SEO (GBP optimization, listings and citations), paid ads fundamentals (Meta and Google Ads at a conversational level), and comfort explaining marketing concepts to a non-technical clinic owner or office manager. - Comfortable managing a variable account load simultaneously without anything slipping through the cracks. - Direct experience with physicians, dentists, med spas, or comparable professional service owners strongly preferred. - Experience in a role where outbound persistence (sales, client success, account management) was part of the job is a strong plus. You spot a stalled account and change your approach before it becomes a real problem. - Self-starter. We are fully remote and do not micromanage. We do expect deliverables on time. ## You're Not a Lone Wolf This is a 1099 role, but very much a team environment. You will be supported by a full internal team handling execution across SEO, paid ads, web, design, and automation. We equip our team with a company email, ClickUp access, any software needed (paid for by us), and a dedicated Slack workspace where the team collaborates daily. We ask that you stay actively engaged in Slack so the team can support you and your clients in real time. Compensation & Schedule Engagement paid on a flat monthly retainer. * Full-Time: $5,000/month * Part-Time: $2,500/month Account load varies by track and by the size of each client's device program.
