Marketing & Business Development Executive Full-Time | Entry Level | Mainly Work-From-Home | Malaysia-Based Preferred Role Overview As our Marketing & Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing outreach efforts in Singapore- retaining existing school clients, acquiring new ones, and developing corporate and community partnerships- while building Young Nautilus’ presence in Johor Bahru as a new market. For Johor Bahru, the focus is on promoting our existing suite of nature education programmes to new audiences, coordinating programme runs, and gathering feedback to support continuous improvement. You will be working with established content and adapting outreach to suit local contexts. While the role is largely remote, it’s especially suited to someone in Johor Bahru who can easily connect with Singapore, and who brings both passion for environmental education and confidence in engaging diverse partners. Requirements - Qualifications •Minimum GCE A-Level / Diploma / Degree in any discipline •Background or strong interest in environmental science, ecology, education, communications, or marketing is preferred Other Requirements •Malaysia-based candidates strongly preferred •Proficient in English; working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia required •Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable reaching out cold to schools, NGOs, and corporates •Self-directed and able to work independently in a remote/WFH setting with minimal supervision, while comfortable with occasional travel within Malaysia and to Singapore for programme support •Equipped with computer skills in MS Office Suite and other application. •Possess good verbal, written communication & presentation skills •Prior experience in marketing, business development, outreach, or education (internship experience considered) is preferred •Passionate about nature, conservation, or environmental education Duties & Responsibilities •Promote Young Nautilus' existing programmes to schools, community groups and general public across Singapore and Johor Bahru through eDMs, social media, email, and other outreach channels •Identify and secure corporate partnerships for CSR-linked, team bonding, or family programme opportunities across both markets. •Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns tailored to each market, with content adapted into Bahasa Malaysia where required. •Proactively source opportunities and represent Young Nautilus at education fairs, environmental events, and networking platforms, engaging Young Nautilus’ educators to deliver talks or exhibitions that enhance brand visibility, especially in Johor Bahru •Identify and engage potential partners - schools, NGOs, eco-tourism operators, corporates, and government agencies - on both sides of the Causeway. •Build and maintain a CRM database of leads, partners, and prospects across both markets. •Coordinate programme scheduling and logistics, serving as the primary point of contact for clients from booking through to post-run feedback collection. •Support team operations through regular check-ins, activity reports, and outreach proposals, ensuring brand and programme consistency across Singapore and Johor Bahru. •Recruit and manage Malaysia educators or interns for outreach and event support (when required).
