Summary

Who We Are We're Sales Savvy Online, an Australian eCommerce growth agency. We run paid media, email marketing, and growth programs for Shopify and WooCommerce brands. Fully remote team of 11 across Australia, the Philippines and India. We move fast, we're honest with each other and our clients, and we don't tolerate slow or sloppy work. This is a replacement role. The seat is live, the clients are real, and we need someone who can start contributing in week one. The Role You'll own three things at SSO: 1. Client onboarding. Lead onboarding sessions with new clients. Connect their platforms (Shopify, ActiveCampaign, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics). Make them feel confident they're in the right hands. 2. Email marketing in Kalviyo and Omnisend. Build, schedule, and monitor email campaigns and automations. Welcome flows, drip sequences, broadcasts. You're not just executing, you're owning the output. 3. Shared inbox. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn. Plus the shared inbox: triage daily, respond to clients, escalate when needed. You'll also keep our onboarding SOPs current in ClickUp and report on email and social performance every week. Who You Are You've done at least 2 years in email marketing. ActiveCampaign experience is strongly preferred (if you've only used Klaviyo or Mailchimp, please flag that upfront). Your written English is strong enough that I'd be comfortable letting you email a client without me reviewing it first. You're AI-literate. By that I mean you actively use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar in your daily workflow. You know how to write a prompt that actually gets a useful output. You don't treat AI as a magic button, you treat it as a tool that gets you to "great" faster. You're autonomous. You give updates before you're chased. You flag risks before they become fires. You don't need to be micromanaged, but you also know when to ask for help. You know your way around Shopify (no coding needed) and ClickUp (or a similar PM tool). Bonus points for previous agency experience, Meta Business Manager troubleshooting, and Canva. Contract Details Type: Hourly contract through Upwork Hours: Full-time, 38 hrs/week Rate: $5.60 USD/hour Duration: Long-term, ongoing, with regular performance check-ins Time zone: AEST Required Tracking: All hours tracked and billed through Upwork Time Tracker This is not a project. What Happens Next Strong proposals get a 30-minute interview on Meet. Shortlisted candidates get a short paid trial task (real SSO work, fully paid).
