Marketing Manager (GEO, SEO, Paid)
Worldwide
About Stynt & why this role exists Stynt is a dental-staffing marketplace: we connect dental offices with dental professionals — hygienists, assistants, and others — for temp shifts and permanent hires. Roughly half of our office demand is for permanent placements, while professionals mostly come to us searching for shift work. Our growth today runs through one overloaded person (the hiring manager) plus a small amount of contracted SEO. We're building a dedicated GEO program and need one owner who can run SEO + GEO + light paid experiments and keep projects moving — so that growth isn't bottlenecked on a single busy leader. What you'll own - GEO (the headline priority). Make Stynt the recognized thought leader in dental staffing so AI assistants cite and recommend us. - Plan and produce citation-worthy content — comprehensive guides, comparison pages, FAQs, case studies, original data from our marketplace, a dental-staffing glossary — and build third-party presence (Reddit/Quora, guest posts, listings, reviews). SEO. - Manage our organic search: keyword and content strategy, on-page and technical SEO (including structured data / schema), and reporting along with our SEO Contractors GEO and SEO share most of the same foundation — you'll run them together. - Paid experiments. Run a small, disciplined paid-test budget (Google Search and a probe into AI-assistant ads) with clear success and kill/scale criteria. This is test-and-learn, not big-budget media buying. - Run the AI-visibility tool. Operate our GEO monitoring tool (e.g., Otterly, Peec, or similar): set up tracked prompts split across office-hiring and pro-shift intent, watch share-of-voice across ChatGPT / Perplexity / Google AI Overviews, and turn the data into a content and outreach backlog — rather than doing everything manually. - Measure and report. Use GA4 to tie signups back to channels (organic/SEO, endorsed links like Reddit, paid, direct), and send a simple weekly read of what's working and what you're changing next. - Coordinate projects. Keep our marketing initiatives organized and shipping, and coordinate with our internal execution support (e.g., Kareema) and any contractors — so the hiring manager is freed up rather than pulled into the weeds. Required skills - Demonstrable GEO / AI-search experience — you can show how you've improved (or at least tracked) a brand's presence in AI-assistant answers, or you clearly understand how citations are earned and can speak to it concretely. - Strong SEO fundamentals — keyword strategy, on-page, technical SEO, structured data, link/authority building. - Content and thought-leadership production — you write clear, credible, well-structured English content and can turn a subject-matter angle into a piece that earns links and citations. (Dental-industry familiarity is a plus, not required.) - GA4 literacy — you can build/read reports, follow traffic sources and referrers, and attribute conversions without hand-holding. - Comfort running AI tools — you use AI-visibility and AI-writing tools to move faster, and you can manage a tool's output critically rather than trusting it blindly. - Reliable communication and project ownership — proactive updates, hits deadlines, and can run initiatives with light oversight. Meaningful daily overlap with US Eastern hours. Nice-to-haves - Experience marketing a two-sided marketplace or a staffing/recruiting business. - Familiarity with US dental or healthcare audiences and terminology. - Hands-on with a specific GEO tool (Profound, Otterly, Peec, Scrunch, AthenaHQ) or SEO suite (Ahrefs, Semrush). - Basic paid-search (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Linkedin ads, Tik Tok, Adroll) experience and comfort reading cost-per-signup. - Light technical ability — editing schema/JSON-LD, working in a CMS, basic HTML.
