Role Summary We are seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to help grow the Rotek Law brand through strategic content creation, social media management, branding, digital marketing, and business development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, creating videos, designing graphics, managing social media, and developing creative marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with firm leadership to build our online presence, educate entrepreneurs about intellectual property, and create content that is both informative and engaging. You'll create a mix of educational, behind-the-scenes, firm culture, entrepreneur-focused, and lighthearted content that makes intellectual property approachable while maintaining the professionalism of a law firm. As the firm grows, this position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and help build and lead our marketing department. Schedule This is a full-time remote position with core working hours of 5:00 AM–2:00 PM Eastern Time. Candidates may work from another time zone but should be available during these hours. Who You Are * A creative storyteller who enjoys turning legal and business concepts into engaging, educational, and entertaining content. * Passionate about building brands and excited by the opportunity to help grow a modern intellectual property law firm. * Comfortable taking ownership of our social media presence by planning content, identifying trends, and recommending new ideas rather than simply executing assigned tasks. * Skilled at creating high-quality marketing content, including short-form videos, reels, carousels, graphics, and other digital media that capture attention and communicate clearly. * Experienced with video editing and content creation tools, with a strong eye for design, branding, and visual consistency. * Tech-savvy and eager to learn new software, platforms, and workflows. You enjoy experimenting with AI tools to improve creativity, productivity, and content quality. * Organized and able to manage multiple marketing projects, campaigns, and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. * Confident managing multiple social media platforms and adapting content to fit each audience and platform. * Comfortable collaborating across departments and communicating professionally with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside vendors. * A proactive problem solver who looks for opportunities to improve processes, suggest new marketing initiatives, and continuously help the firm grow. * Excited to take on increasing responsibility over time and help lead and organize the firm's marketing department as it expands. * Someone who enjoys learning, welcomes feedback, and is motivated by continuous personal and professional growth. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute content calendars across our social media platforms. * Write compelling captions, articles, newsletters, website content, and marketing materials. * Create educational, promotional, and entertaining content that aligns with the Rotek Law brand. * Produce and edit short-form videos, reels, graphics, and carousel posts. * Manage and grow our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital platforms. * Monitor trends and recommend new content ideas that improve engagement and brand awareness. * Assist with website updates, blog posts, SEO content, and online business profiles. * Coordinate email marketing campaigns and client newsletters. * Track marketing performance and recommend improvements using analytics. * Leverage AI and modern marketing tools to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality content. * Organize marketing assets, campaigns, and internal marketing projects. * Collaborate with attorneys and staff to identify client stories, legal updates, and educational content opportunities. * Help develop and implement long-term marketing initiatives as the firm continues to grow. Requirements * Excellent written English with exceptional grammar, editing, and communication skills. * Strong content writing and storytelling abilities. * Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing. * Experience editing videos and creating graphics using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe * Creative Suite, or similar platforms. * Strong organizational and project management skills. * Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to assist with writing, brainstorming, research, and content creation. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and modern collaboration tools. * Reliable internet connection and professional remote work environment. * Ability to work full-time during the firm's core hours. Preferred Qualifications * Experience managing social media accounts for a business or professional services firm. * Experience writing blogs, newsletters, website copy, or long-form educational content. * Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, or digital marketing metrics. * Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or marketing automation tools. * Basic photography, graphic design, or video production skills. * Experience leading projects or coordinating marketing initiatives. * Interest in entrepreneurship, startups, technology, or intellectual property. Compensation $550/month with opportunities for compensation increases as responsibilities, performance, and the firm's marketing initiatives continue to grow.
