2D Mascot Animator Needed to Bring Business Mascot “Digit” to Life

I am looking for a 2D character animator to animate my business mascot, Digit, for use in explainer/instructional videos, social media posts, and on my business website. Digit is the mascot for my fingerprinting and background check business. I would like him to be able to talk, walk, wave, point, give instructions, hold objects such as fingerprint cards, and appear in short educational videos. The ideal freelancer should have experience with: 2D mascot animation Character rigging Lip-sync/talking animation Walk cycles Hand gestures and pointing Short explainer videos Social media video formats Transparent background exports Website-friendly animation files I would like to start with a small paid test project before moving into a larger project. The test would be a 5–10 second animation of Digit waving, blinking, pointing, and saying one short line. If the test goes well, I would like to continue with additional work, including creating a reusable animated Digit character/puppet and short explainer videos for my services. Please include examples of previous mascot or 2D character animation work. Please also explain what software you use and whether source/project files will be included.
