Mechanical CAD Design Engineer – Smart Vending Machine Cabinet

Project Overview PhysiNovaLab Pvt Ltd is developing a next-generation smart IoT-enabled vending machine and is looking for an experienced Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to design a manufacturing-ready sheet metal cabinet. The project includes the complete cabinet structure, internal rack system, door assembly, motor mounting brackets, dispense chute assemblies, and electronics mounting provisions. The design should be optimized for laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, powder coating, and assembly, with a strong focus on manufacturability, durability, and serviceability. The selected freelancer will work closely with our team to develop a production-ready mechanical design suitable for prototype fabrication and future mass manufacturing. Scope of Work * Design complete sheet metal cabinet in 3D CAD. * Design internal rack and rail system. * Design door assembly and mounting features. * Design motor mounting and dispense chute assemblies. * Review the design for manufacturability and assembly. * Prepare complete manufacturing documentation. Expected Deliverables * Complete 3D CAD assembly. * Individual part models. * Native CAD files. * STEP files. * DXF files for laser cutting. * Sheet metal flat patterns. * Bend drawings. * Manufacturing drawings with dimensions and tolerances. * Assembly drawings and exploded views. * Complete BOM matching the CAD model.
