Mechanical Engineer – Portable Crane Development

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and develop a lightweight portable crane system for remote recovery and maintenance operations. The project involves developing a compact crane with a 4-meter reach and a lifting capacity of 400 kg. The design must achieve a balance between strength, safety, portability, and minimal weight to enable transportation and rapid deployment in challenging environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, structural analysis, CAD modeling, material selection, prototype development, and design optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mechanical engineering, product development, and problem-solving, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and lifting equipment being an advantage.
