Mechanical Engineer for Sliding Mechanism Design

I am seeking a mechanical engineer to design a push-button sliding mechanism for a stainless steel bracelet prototype. The project involves creating a functional design that integrates with an existing 3D CAD model. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3D design and CAD software, and be able to deliver a detailed design package Mechanical Engineer Needed to Design Push-Button Sliding Mechanism for Stainless Steel Bracelet Prototype Job Description: I have a completed 3D CAD model of a stainless steel bracelet and need a mechanical engineer to help design the internal moving mechanism. The bracelet already includes: Outer bracelet shell/body Wrist band design Inner sliding piece that moves in and out I need help engineering the missing internal components: Push-button release system Spring mechanism Locking/releasing feature Sliding guides/rails Stops/tolerances to prevent binding Mechanism that is durable for repeated use The desired action: When the button is pressed, the internal piece releases and slides out in a straight line. Like a drawer. The mechanism should feel smooth, secure, and reliable. Requirements: Experience with mechanical product design Experience designing small mechanisms Experience with springs, latches, sliders, pins, or locking systems Strong SolidWorks/Fusion 360/Inventor skills Ability to work from existing CAD files Ability to create manufacturing-ready CAD files Deliverables: Review my existing CAD model Design the internal mechanism Provide updated 3D CAD assembly Provide detailed parts/components Recommend spring type, materials, and tolerances Prepare design for CNC prototype manufacturing Preferred experience: Watches Consumer products Small mechanical devices Jewelry mechanisms Precision machining Stainless steel parts Project details: Material target: 316L stainless steel Prototype quantity: 1–5 units initially Production may follow after successful prototype Please include: Examples of similar mechanisms you have designed CAD software you use Estimated time to complete Your experience with small moving assemblies I will provide CAD files after initial discussion and can sign an NDA .
